Aside from naturally-occurring localities, there have been 2 different albino specimens and one ivory (leucistic?).

The first albino was found somewhere in Florida, ended up in Tom Crutchfield's possession before he sold it to an anonymous buyer.

The ivory I believe is still owned by Sean Bradley of Exotics by Nature and he still has it for sale.

The second albino has found somewhere in Texas by a field herper. I do not know if that person still has the animal, what they plan to do with it, or even if they have the knowledge to keep it alive in captivity.

My fear is that, like many WC eastern hogs, these specimens end up in the hands of people who, quite simply do not know what they're doing when it comes to the difficult nature of feeding easterns (barring Crutchfield and EBN). I hope they end in the collection of someone knowledgeable and will actually work them into captive breeding projects and not just keep them as a novelty or "trophy" animal.
