I headed to Tom Steven's house after the Austin Expo this weekend to check out the awesome Calkings he had produced......
I HAD to get a pair of these........I don't know what Tom wants to call them but they look like Chocolate Tiger Calkings......

The melanin is splitting the "white/yellow" bands creating some double bands.......And you should see the amel ones.......KILLER if you ask me.....

Some hard snakes to photograph.......Pics do them NO justice what so ever......

Well your opinion may be different than mine . But the colors on that have a slot of sophistication. Maybe a Burnt umbar with a Periwinkle ting and some chartreuse affron snuggled up between the bands.

I hope you insensitive types don't call it brown!

Nice hypermelanistic cal king. Here is one I produced in 2007 that is very similar and is also het for albino.

Tom had a couple of those "lighter" ones, but these dark ones nicer in my opinion........Nicer in person for sure.......
The amel ones have razor thin yellow bands next to each other since there is melanin (absence of in amels) within the bands......

The hypermelanistics come in aberrant patterns, solid brown-no pattern, striped, and banded.
