Heres another.
I have some Desert Globemallow, Marigolds & 4 Oclocks going good now. I got some from Great Basin Seed Co in Vegas. Others were from Plants of the Southwest in NM. I also have a stash of seed from the "side of every road I have ever traveled".

Heres another-- great selection.

LOL hhhahahaha ! Hows all those lizards of yours?
Eve
Oh I am very seedy!! I have thinned the herd some in the last year or so. I don't want to ever have 50 baby chucks again to deal with like a couple of years ago. I sure expected to see some baby DI's last month but nada. I am glad no chuck eggs were laid though. The DI's have all gone under for the year. The Yarrows are getting into the "seed spreading mood" now. Next year I might be back into the chuck & DI baby mode too. I also have a yard full of misc lizard escapees from years back. Makes it interesting to watch.

Wow! 5o chucks awhile back hunh, geesh. Must have been cool to see them all though ! :0)
I like the yarrows, but that Mr. Eddington, keeps telling me his yarrow is better looking than my emerald swift, hehehe. Can't even compare , they are 2 very differently colored lizards. But hey, I have to insist my guy is the prettiest LOL.
So tell me David, what exactly are the the ones who have excaped?
What species? Must be an interesting yard, to just kickback, and watch the wildlife,
Very cool. Get some pics . Eve
Thanks for the great links. I've been ordering from Plants of the Southwest for the last couple of years, but I didn't know about Great Basin- right in my own backyard!
I'm having to cover my globemallow, desert marigold and primrose with hardware cloth or they (Chucks & baby DI's) will eat the seedlings almost as fast as they sprout. When all is said and done, I will have laid down enough seed in my 8' x 35" area to plant my entire yard.
Thanks again,
Aaron
