Reptile shows are *great* sources of used cages for relatively cheap!

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip!

I got my tanks from a friend in trade for mice, as he switched his extensive commercial collection over to tubs and racks.

I sawa guy selling 4x2s, 3 for 300 at the last show. If I hadn't gotten totally abysmal sales I'd have bought them in a heart beat (used boaphiles).

Somehow I have now got 32 snakes! I have 19 occupied glass cages, and most of those are between 40 and 75 gallons. I do have two little ten gallon tanks empty; maybe I will put some leopard geckos in those...My living room looks like a zoo. I could reduce the footprint with racks and tubs but I like to see my pets; hence the big glass affairs for the snakes.

Oh, I forgot the lizard tubs...but those are outside during the summer.

How does your house mate feel about that? At least all of mine are in a spare bedroom. The mice are in the garage. So my wife doesn't mind unless the smell starts percolating into the rest of the house!

And yes if I had empty cages (or room for them) I could fill them easily!!

My partner and I have separate living quarters on our rural acreage. He has a big house trailer and I have the little cabin. So we don't annoy each other with our assorted hobbies. I am one of those people that require a lot more space than the norm, so this works out perfect for me. When we want to be together we do so, but are not trapped together in the same cage 24/7. I think more relationships would be content if the people could have more space and privacy.
