This was pretty cool....

My kids and myself are getting ready for bow season.Yesterday evening we were shooting and tuning the bows behind the house. As we walked back up from pulling arrows from a target, my oldest says "hey there's a kingsnake under that baord, I just saw it's head go back under." I go to my truck and retrieve the camera, telling them to wait before lifting the board. I got pics insitu as they lifted it. If you look closely there is a toad sitting right beside him. It looked like a female that unloaded some eggs this year , she was a little on the thin side. Anyway, here are the pics, thought it was pretty cool. It's about the 9 or 10th one I found this year, last one was a week ago, a stub-tail male under some tin I have laid out on my property.

There she is with her toad lunch! I would have been tempted to bring her in and feed her up for awhile.
