Very recently a close friend was severly injured in Afghanistan on his second tour, months after his wedding. Kevin is only 24 years old and lost both his legs sheilding a fellow solider while a bomb went off. He is currently back in the states and hospitalized in Maryland. His young wife Kayla has quit her job and moved her life to her husbands bed side. Despite the devastations this war can bring home Kevin has an unbelievable outlook on this situation and just smiles and says he did what had to be done for those he loves and the country he supports, never once would he hesitate to do it again. He was awarded a purple heart for his bravery and selflessness.

Our local community has come together in a big way creating a fundraiser that will help to raise money for the extensive surguries and adaptive equipment Kevin will still need. Being a reptile breeder for 10 years you guys are my community and I am asking that you help support this family in any way you can.

Here are some links to the facebook page made in his honor and also a website dedicated to KEVINS CAUSE.

There are tons of words of encouragement from people all over the country pulling for this young couple.

Thank you again guys for being there in a time of need

So sorry to hear. My thought are with you and his family. War seems so far away untill it strikes so close to home. It brings a new meaning to freedom and respect for those making it possible.
