Thanks a lot Doug. Things are starting to get fun. Not that keeping snakes isn't fun the rest of the time, but you know what I mean. Here's a male from last year that I'm about to have to part with, but he's going to a good home with three females waiting for him.

Matt,..that is great that he is going to a good home with a pre-made harem to propagate more of the same.

Best wishes for that entire bloodline of situla!

My yearling rhinos are doing great, Matt. The male was no problem, but the female was quite stubborn for a long time - I had to force feed her for a few months, at least, then she got back on board with tease feeding. She is now taking f/t fuzzies left in her tub, so I am very happy with how they are doing now. My male is almost twice the size of the female, but she is growing now - and according to Rob Stone, the males seem to get larger than the females anyway...

I need to get some new pics of them soon...

Wasn't it you that my girlfriend and I were holding your Rhino's at your table and also took a few photos of them there at Daytona?

If so, it was a pleasure talking to you about those..

No Doug, I wish I had some rhino's, and I haven't made it to Daytona yet. I think I would remember meeting you, as many of your posts that I've read. I think you give good advise and don't take this the wrong way, but some of those threads on the king snake forum are addictive. I tend to agree with you by the way. I hope to meet all you guys one day.

.....yes, I have to agree. Many of the threads over there on the other forum would compare to looking at a grizzly car wreck.

Anyway, it certainly would be fun to see you and many others in person one day.

regards, ~Doug

That pattern looks like the Tessera Corns.

mattkau Sep 03, 2011 02:38 PM

Yeah, a lot of people say that. They are similar.
