So my friend has these two ball pythons and wanted to know if they were anything special? I'm not quite sure but the younger one has nice flames and the older has a nice light color.

it just shows i still have alot to learn. And it was awkward emailing him back that his snakes aren't well cared for..
tellijg people they are wrong is easy when it comes to the critters' health.....
you should see and hear the people at the show (Hamburg) when they find a Big Dog Left in a car on a 999 degree day....some go nuts....screaming into the mic that "you got 1 minute to get this dog out or we bust all the windows" and stuff like that....some people want to beat and then lock the owners in the cars.......truly a Lovely scene erupts....all for the good of the dog......saw it more than once with more than a few people all thinking the same thing...
.
......all this...and we all HATE PETA too....!!!
.

.
.
it's wonderful....Love the animals...!!! (or kill them humanely and eat them)....???

Those Ball Pythons do need some better care. The conditions they are kept in now is pretty common, however. Pet store advice, I assume? Anyways, it is easily corrected
Please, help your friend by Googling some of the Ball Python care sheets available. A good start would be to make sure they have enough humidity (about 70%) and a good temperature gradient so they can thermoregulate. I don't know the ages of those snakes, but they look like they could be fed a little more often as well. The care sheets can give you a lot more information.
If you have specific questions about how to get the environment just the way you like it, feel free to ask.

I have the same type of cage, I found it hard to keep humidity in, so i covered about 3/4 of the top with a piece of Plexiglas i had. I worked great! Just point your friend here, these guys are great at helping out.
