These are the 2 Cinnamons that we received from Africa this year. Wish we could have found the parents...
Thanks,

Pardon my rudeness, but what am I looking for here? They look completely normal, if not worse than normal royal pythons? I have seen hundreds of CF royals, and the most attractive are the high gold individuals and the odd 'pastel' looking animal you see. Am I missing something in the chain? Does the cinnamon hold a key ingredient to making another funky morph?
Also do they hold much value? I feel I may have lost a tonne if that kind of snake is worth something.
Also the same with granites, I have seen several of those come through and none are worth a looking as far as I am concerned, all dark drab snakes with speckling among the pattern. Again, is there something i am missing?
I do not intend to be rude, it just seems as if the Royal python morph has turned into a whole bunch of people making morphs out of nothing? Why not keep is as simple as the albinos, axanthics, snows, pastels, that kinda thing??
I hope this helps some........
The cinnamon pastels are a new dominant genetic morph proven genetic by Greg Graziani in 2002. Cinnamon Pastels appear to have no black or yellow in them, just shades of brown, tan and white. Like the Pastel Jungle ball python its belly is pure white with no black flecking at all and instead of having a gold stripe through the top of the eye it has a silver stripe. As a juvenile, they have a pale stripe on its cheek starting behind the eye. As an adult their heads are almost patternless.
It may be difficult to see the difference on your computer but for anyone who has sen them in person.....its obvious that they are quite different froma anormal ball python.
When combined with a pastel jungle the cross is called a Pewter Pastel Jungle....is is quite breath taking to see....
Pricing on cinnamons is $10,000 for males & $15,000 for females and boy are they worth every penny!!!
As for the granites......I believe only 2 breeders are due credit from proving their lines genetically reproducable....and they are Rick Elfvin & Ralph Davis.....congrats to them!

WOW! are you missing the boat. How do you think all these new morphs come about? By selective breeding of new morphs and careful planning by the breeder. I couldn't disagree more. I have talked to Wyatt on the phone and he is working some of the same projects as myself.I am not at liberty to discuss them right now, but some of those morphs that people are ignoring now hold the key to the some of the yet to be seen ball python morphs. It's the outcome of breeding one morph to another that makes this hobby always new and exciting. I have posted pictures of some phenominal morphs here that got little or no response! Thats okay though, I just keep buyiing them up as they come along. Some of those dark spotted pythons may hold the key to a true snow ball because what I have seen produced by axanthics so far just haven't done it for me! Wyatt, you know your on the right track!
