Just got done making my first hidie. Made it out of three pieces of styrofoam. Not to bad for the first time. Raven, my stripped Cal king will like it.

Thanks Doug, that means a lot. I appreciate that.
I have another one in the works that is a little different design. I'll post as soon as I get done with it.

That's pretty darn good! I was expecting to see a plastic tub with some moss in it, lol. That turned out really well!

A step above the plastic Glad tub covered by a cardboard box, for sure!

How did you make it?

>>>How did you make it?
Thank you.
I took three small pieces of Foam Board Insulation and visualized how I wanted it to look. Carved with a knife, scraped out with a spoon, and then sanded with used sand paper. Dug out hole in bottom layer. Cut out hole in middle layer. Using that piece I cut out, I sliced it in half (thickness) and glued it to the bottom of the top piece so it will slide in and out of the hole securely holding the top to the middle layer, while being able to remove the top for access to the hole. Painted each piece brown. Glued the bottom layer to the middle layer. Touched up the paint with silver, gray, and black.
Check out my new post.
