They Don't Get Any More Classic Looking

Jlassiter Sep 05, 2011 12:33 AM

Than This!.......

F2 Thayeri....

2 Generations from Wild Confiscated animals gifted to Tim at Vivid Reptiles......

Since the Lacey Act included Mexico there hasn't been any more "new" mexicana blood in our hobby in years.....But still folks try and bring them across and some get busted (you know who you are...lol)......And I am glad they did get busted.......LOL

Yeah man, those are classic "old-shool" thayeri phenotypes for sure bud!. I had a few that looked VERY similar many years ago.

gosh, I remember when a MODERATELY peach colored specimen would go $400 bills easy. I'm sure you remember those days..LOL!

Yep....Tim (VR) still gets that much for his nicest, brightest ones....LOL

That is what everyone was dealt with the non introduction of new blood and line breeding taking place.....Nice Oranges and Yellows were the thayeri of choice.....Even in recent years there have been some NICE, bright thayeri found in the wild.......

It seems that there's been a swing in the hobby back to the Wild Types or Earth-Toned thayeri......Especially with the wild blood that was introduced into Tim's line....

Yeah, it's funny how alot of things in this hobby can evolve or even go full-circle sometimes.

Cool stuff!..
