Wow, those Champs seem really dark. Are those a line you are working on, or are most Champs that dark and it just isn't showing up in others' photos? Those are sa-weet.

Maybe it's just the pictures, but I don't think that is a mimosa? Sometimes the markings on the back of a hatchling champagne will have some purple in them, but they will change to black later. All mimosas have purple on their head when they hatch, the purple that is on a mimosa will always stay purple.

That's a nice looking group of hatchlings either way, congrats!

Well Every Champagne that I produced this year was very dark. Very pronounced in their pattern. This one is very orange. And very different then the rest. I have seen some Mimosa's that have a darker hugh to them. Trust me since they hatched I have been looking over it several times because I even questioned it. But the more she grows and when you get them in a natural light it is a lot more apparent. But either way if I am wrong I will know Later. I certainly wouldn't mislead anyone on a purchase. But thanks for your input.

Yea, I'm not seeing mimosa. But its a very nice champagne.
Please keep posting updates of these guys. I love the unusual coloring on them. My complaint about Champs is the same as a lot of peoples', they are washed out and kind of boring. But your's are dark, and strange. It'll be awesome to see how they mature.
