Pink Panther ?'s

DanW Sep 07, 2011 06:24 PM

I am contemplating getting into T boas. I have looked a numerous pics of both normal and pink panther ones. I do notice a difference. What is pink panther and how does it work? Is it a form of pastel? Are there normal pink panther boas and if so could you breed one to a T and get pink panther T's when you breed the babies to each other?

Thanks,
Dan

Your best bet would be to call Tracy at VPI and talk to her.

The other option is to look through the VPI website.

Look at the VPI Diary and the VPI Gallery.

You can learn alot just by reading through Tracy and Dave's website.

To answer part of your Question, Yes there are Pink Panthers that are not Caramel Albino
but they are mostly het for Caramel Albino.

Like I say look through their website learn what you can and then
E-mail and or call Tracy for more info.

I hope to make many Pink Panthers myself over the next 10 years,
if things start going right for me that is.

As Larry said you can have a Pink Panther without the VPI T Positive gene but they usually work in connection with another meaning if it is a Pink Panther it is likely het or atleast possible het VPI T Positive.

It makes the VPI T Positives really POP as shown in this gal I got from Jeremy Stone!

Super colorful boas and definitely a great thing to look into your cages and see!

The guy asked for some pink who am I to say no?! Haha

I will say having her as "ruined" me in a way as I have had a few other pink panthers and they just don't do it for me because I have this girl.

I'll have to get a pic of her and my batwing t pos from Bryant. She's getting better and better too!
