Update on sick beardie.....and ?? for CheriS

Thanks to those who replied to my post! I seen the vet today and he said it was more than likely some sort of infection but couldn't be for sure untill we got a fecal test. ( I really don't like this guy!) I haven't been able to get him to eat for 3 or 4 days now so of course there is no poop.... I'm gonna start feeding him with a syringe baby food and try to get a good fecal and then maybe we can know for sure. In the meen time he gave me an antibiotic to hopefully counteract it.
The warm soaks did help and took out most of the swelling but you can still see some swelling below the vent on the tail side.
CheriS do you know how to get hold of Jeff Spelling so I can ask him what vet he uses cause I'm not really thrilled with this guy but was the only one in the phone book that advertised for exotic animals.
Thanks Everyone!!!

I sent you Jeffs email, I know it is current as I has an email from him last month checking up on a beardie I got from him two years ago..... LOL, if I don't check in he demands upddated pics and report

He is the only one beside Joel and Eva that has keep up with his babies that went to other homes.

them if I were you, this really sounds more like an infection that parasites, worms or an impaction.

Make sure you also start probiotics with them to counter the effects of the kill off of good bacteria in the digestive tract
