what geckos can be kept together

I was thinking of setting up a large vivarium (desert or tropical) for geckos. I was wondering what types that you can keep together if any.

I do not believe in housing different species together. However, I have a friend who kept several Phesulma sp. together.

Ive heard that its better to house a arboreal and a ground dwelling lizards together as they will not annoy each other or you could house a nocturnal species witha daylight species.Ill put a short list of geckos nocturnal and not but whatever you do donot put different sises in as the bigger will eat the smalller a good rule is to make sure one lizard will not fit in the other lizards mouth.

nocturnal:golden gecko,pictus gecko,flying gecko,white lined gecko
daytime:armadillo lizard,day geckos

hope this helps

Whoever told you that has no idea what they're talkin about. Mixing species is unecessary and dangerous. Its just not in their best interests to mix. If you can't afford more than one cage, don't get more than one animal. The species you listed are from COMPLETELY different areas of the world and need TOTALLY different husbandry requirements. If you house a pictus gecko with an armadillo, how long do you think you'll have that pictus? Come on man, use some common sense here. Don't go around spewing BS just to sound like you know something. Jeez where do you people get your advice, PetCo, PetSmart?

In case you didn't notice, I said I don't recommend it.

In spite of the incredibly RUDE remarks of "The Beard", literature shows that many of the sub-species of Day Geckos can be kept together very successfully. FT's are rumored to be a bit too aggressive for this type of setup, but similar sized pairs can be housed together nicely. Good luck on your set-up!
