1 of 2 '11 Holdbacks: Diffused Hypo Mot?

Adam105 Sep 08, 2011 10:47 AM

This has been produced through line breeding for over 7 years now when a random hypo mot(diffused?) popped out of normal clutch from sunglow mot to normal multi-het female. Bred her back to the father and this came out.... Open to ideas? The original father of the multi-het female is VERY diffused, almost blood/okeetee looking.

Thanks! Unfortunately I sold off my colubrid collection this year to downsize however I keep in contact with the man who purchased the pairing that produced this girl. I am hoping to grab a like male next year off him to figure out exactly whats in this snake!

Isn't that the way it always works! If you would have kept that pair, nothing like this one would have ever popped up. Best of luck to you.

Looks like a hypo Bloodred, with the Motley pattern being expressed as a cubed pattern. At first look I thought maybe sunkissed? Since the sunkissed gene does affect the pattern in similar ways. Very pretty!
