Went home for lunch today because I thought Akoya was ready to deliver. After weeks, maybe months, in her hide, never to be seen unless I pulled out the hide and uncovered her, she was out last night....
Of course I found nothing. Had my lunch, and as an afterthought I checked again just because and found her coming out of the hide and looking suspiciously skinny.....

Clear example of how much body mass they lose, look at the skin fold on Akoya's belly... (and the first glimpse of the pile of babies)

With mom out of the way time to see what's going on...

All Pearl litter.....

15 total babies and not one single slug. And no lumps in Akoya showing she had anything to eat.
And on a side note, my 1000th BRB baby is a Pearl!!!
