How after reading a subject, there will be ads in the header with similar stuff? I mean I just read Kerby's post about making rubber molds, and then an ad appeared above, selling Silicone mold rubber. Creeepy!

It goes beyond that. I'd also read the post about the cactus molds, I just went on facebook and a big add popped up for DIY Silicon Mold. I've often seen adds pop up on various sites that seem to be fine tuned to whatever I've recently read. If I look up something on Amazon then no doubt I'll see a ton of adds for similar products on adds on other sites. It's definite that whatever program is in place for picking what adds we see on this site, facebook, and many others, is able to somehow track what things you read about or search for.

When a webmaster, blogger, etc. sets up an advertising account on their site there are certain scripts that run in the background pulling information about page contents, searches, etc. and use that information to display ads targeted at specific interests/demographics.
Sorta creepy, but it's just technology at work.

I don't really like it much either. It seems almost invasive. I know it's sales technology, but it creeps me out. Like I'm being always targeted for a sale? I don't even like slaemen at stores trying to sell you stuff. If I have a question or ask for their help, that's different.
