cali kings... ghosts and such

mikefedzen Sep 09, 2011 11:27 PM

this light phase ghost male is killer.. I need to work on getting some face shots of him, jaw and neck area is bright red it looks pretty cool.

here's a dark phase ghost female, she's pretty stunning in her own right.

and here's a female that doesn't know if she wants to be a ghost or not lol, she has the face of a ghost cali king, and very cool speckling going down most of her body. she's probably the biggest of this little group, it's amazing how quick they'll grow when you feed them every 2-3 days as much as they'll eat.

this adult albino male got a bowl of live pinky rats last week, he made them disappear quick.

here he is eating 1, constricting 2 others... multitasking!

If you find any for sale and there's a extra pair let me know. I kept meaning to buy a pair the last couple years and never pulled the trigger. I would love to get some. The white sided is looking awesome. Did you get it off tadpoles yet?

Yup she's currently demolishing a dozen shiners anytime I throw them in the water bowl. Am confident she'll be on f/t shiners soon because she was eating dead ones in the last feeding.

Yeah I can't wait to see him as an adult, I saw a pic on your site of a light phase ghost with a good bit of size to it so I'm assuming that's the one you kept back? He's not too bad looking either! I want one of those Pink Pearls lol...

Yes, that is the one I kept from last year. I also sold another one from last year besides the one to you and I produced another one this year (male).

Next year I am hoping to produce more Pink Pearls as well.

All are real nice Mike. The two phases are each neat in their own way.
