I read that when beardies wave, it is a sign of submission or passiveness & that usually the females wave. I have 2 new babies, I'm guessing they are btwn 1-2 months old & about 4-6 inches. Ever since yesterday, I noticed they have been "waving" nonstop everytime they see me watching them. Then they seem to do it to eachother, really slowly, switching from one arm to the other. Is this normal for babies or are they just kinda intimidated right now since I've only had them 3 days & they came from a small Petco tank filled with 25 other babies, which they might be used to?
In the picture below, that's Buster (the one on the bottom) and Peanut (the reddish colored one). I ended up getting them both for free since the checker at Petco didn't see me holding the box in the same hand as my purse the 2 different times I went in the store to get them, hehehe. So I walked off with $130 worth of lizards that day!
