Russo black widow video results

Pardalis Sep 10, 2011 06:41 PM

I paired a russo female with a black widow and got a really nice clutch from it. The russo gene really lightened the coloration and acted as a cleaner. I am extremely pleased and lucky to have hit on the four genes in this clutch. A couple of questions for those that work with the russo morph. Have any of these been produced already? What is your opinion on the first and fourth snake? I accidently referenced cinnamon in the video but this is a GCR black widow. I included preshed photos at the end of the video to help with identification. My thanks in advance to all those who help me try and figure it out.

I love the last snake!! I just received a het russo in a trade and I'm very excited about the potential of this gene. The russo really brightens things up and it's virtually an untapped morph. I don't know if that combo has been done yet or not, but I think you better start coming up with names. Congrats on the great clutch! Chris Hall

Great clutch and the four-gener is a knockout!

Great fleshy and pastel tones.

Congratulations!

Good video too. Nice touch with the photos at the end.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm really happy with the whole clutch and glad it was female heavy. Gives me more opportunity to continue working with this gene.

Can you post a pic of the russo female?? Thanks Chris

Chris, I don't have very much in the way of photos of this girl. Unfortunately, not many people really appreciate this morph because there are nicer BEL makers. I'm sure I have some and can post a little later today. I do have a video pulling her off the eggs that hatched you can view that until then. Hope that helps some, thank you.
