At first I though you were doing some home repairs. You know, re-calking the bathtub, or fixing some leaky aquariums!
Then I realized you meant Cal King.

>>Great choice in morphs! The chocolate banana is really cool. What name did they give you for this morph? Anery? Ghost? Hypo? This is one of those morphs they don't seem to be able to figure out.
I agree Ross.....I had to get some.....LOL
The parents to this pair I have were sold as "aneries"......
This pair was sold to me as "ghosts".......
What is your take on the gene Ross?
I believe it is ontogenetic for sure......

I don't really know what it is. I've seen some photos of several juveniles. They can be medium brown (hypo looking) to dark brown almost black. Then they seem to have darker than normal eyes like an anery or axanthic. Most of them or a lot of them have random speckling, with others having aberrant patterns. But that pattern could have been bred into them. They remind me of a Polomar ghost as if it was bred into the desert line. I hear the hets are yellow and brown. Something doesn't sound right or maybe its just a weird gene we've never seen. All in all, I don't know what to think about it. That's what makes them cool.
