They're here.....

I posted a picture of a very pregnant Sharp Sunglow awhile back that I call Ember due to her lovely color and tail. The male that was responsible for her condition was an 08 Marron male. Very healthy babies were born on 9/8/11; no still born, one sweet potato, and only one with unabsorbed yolk. I actually have not counted heads, but quite a few babies for a boas first clutch and plenty of hypos. Once they shed and I sort things out I will post pictures of Marron offspring.

Thanks for looking,

John Manser

Awesome John,
Can't wait to see some pictures of these little guys post shed. It will be interesting in the coming years to see how the Maroon gene is expressed in the albinos.

AWEOMSE PAIRING! and what a beautiful mom!! I cant wait to see if this challenge of determining Marrons from non-Marrons is easily distinguishable in your litter....

Congrats!

Now that is a GOOD looking Momma boa. Can you post a pic of her
as a neonate?

I'm trying to come to grips with how the sharp sunglows &
albinos change color as they mature. Thanks.....tc

This girl did not change much except for the better due to her size increase with age. From the quality sunglows I have seen in person, from either line (Sharps or Kahl), in my experience seem to stay about the same unlike most albinos and maybe even get better.

Here she is at about 12 months of age.
