Sexing Varanus Acanthurus

thumper1904 Sep 12, 2011 11:13 PM

I was reading up on Varanus Acanthurus and this was on the mapman.com website quoted from "A little book of monitor lizards" by Bennett.
"This monitor is easy to sex by looking for clusters of well developed spiny scales on the tail base at either side of the vent in males." Does anyone have pictures of this? I plan on getting at least a pair if not a trio of Ackies in the coming months. Any help sexing would be appreciated.

I guess everybody's sick of this question. I did more research and found the answer to my question.
