These are just a few old pics I have saved in my photobucket. I would share. Most of these are over 20 years old, a couple are over 30.

Hows that for an old pic? Those are my little hands, lol.

This was my first WC Anery Corn! I thought it was a Gray Rat, till I realized what it was, lol!

Great pics. You should try to figure the dates out.

Well, that last one has a date stamp on it, of 92. The one in my hand was my very first snake, and I was about 10. I just turned 48, so that was about 37 years ago. The large Speckled in the wooden cage was my second snake about a year later. The others are early 90's.

Thanks Ross! I recently found a small box full of old herp pics. I really should upload them so they'll never get ruined. But it takes so long to scan them, and save them.

yeah, i was thinking pueblan x ruthie myself.

Jlassiter Sep 13, 2011 07:32 PM

>>yeah, i was thinking pueblan x ruthie myself.

I agree with ruthie but I see nelson or sinaloan in there....................not campbelli..........who knows though.......

it's the snout band that's making me think campbelli.

however, western ruthie territory does cut through both campbelli and arcifera ranges and arcifera does butt up to both campbelli and nelsoni ranges - so who knows?

still, the snout banding and wider triads make me think campbelli. but either way i'd bet real money that there's ruthie dna in her.

Let's hear the IDs and stories behind those critters, if you don't mind! I see a funky tri-color in there that I'd like to learn about...

Here's what I remember...

1) My second snake ever. A large WC New Orleans Speckled King
2) Baby Grayband (Generic)
3) My first snake ever. A baby New Orleans Speck
4) A large Georgia King
5) No positive. I did purchase a pair of Milks that a guy was selling as Scarlet Kings, lol. I never really figured out what they were?
6) More Alterna babies.
7) Trombower Pieblan (I'm pretty sure)
8) Brooks with dud eggs
9) Dade County King - WC
10) These were sold to me as Bloomfield Central Plains milks. I wish I still had them. I also had a pair of killer Red Milks that were het for hypo. I can't find pics of those.

I wish I still had those! It was a trio of Central Plains Milks. Just when I had them big enough to breed, my first wife decides to disappear, and bounced checks all over town! I had to sell my entire collection.

Great series of old photos Jorge! I especially like the Dade Co. Florida King. Whats the story on that one?

Lu

Maybe this Dade Co. from wild parents is one of his great grandchildren?

a153fish Sep 14, 2011 08:41 AM

That one is very nice1 The one in my pic was caught by a friend of my wifes, just outside of Hialeah on US 27.
