Black Eyed Paradox Albino

mikebell Sep 13, 2011 09:26 PM

There was a thread here before about chimeras. I don't remember much about the subject. Could this be a chimera. I don't know if it is truly an albino or a het.

An interesting twist is that this snakes grandfather is the same black pastel het albino that Gulf Coast used to produce the first Black Pastel Albino that is on page 102 of the Barker's book, it is also a paradox. It does not have black eyes though.

Outstanding Mike! Congrats on that gem! I can't wait to hear the results of it's offspring! WoW is an understatement!

with out doing genetic testing it would be difficult to tell for sure if it is a chimera or not.

Verry cool what ever it is.

Most likely it will prove albino if bred. If it proves het in breeding would be almost certain proof of chimera.

Nice animal. Keep us posted.

the thing with paradox snakes is that folks always tend to say this is a paradox whatever is the better gene. that is an assumption. many of these animals might be paradox normals. one does not know till breeding.

this animal was sold to me as a shatter pattern butter. many would label it a paradox butter. he has sired many offspring to 4 different females, one of them being roughly 15 offspring to a mojave. no butters or white snakes to be found. just wild types and a handful of mojaves. zero shatters.

and look at the amount of "butter" on the paint job - quite alot.
