YELLOW JACKET!!!!!!

nextworld3 Sep 14, 2011 04:32 AM

After getting crushed on the odds on my last few clutches this clutch put a big smile on my face! We finally hatched out our own Yellow Jackets! These guys just glow! and they get brighter with age...

Baby from this season pictured with a pastel (looks correct on a mac set to srgb color profile... Not working real good on PCs, ill fix soon)

Baby produced by Ian G a few seasons Back

800 gram girl from a few seasons ago

I forgot, what's a Yellow Jacket? Are you going to the FIRE show? I guess with your new career, you don't have time for us anymore.

Nice combo one of my favorites!

Do you have a pic of the Black Belly? What are the traits to look for in a black belly?

Chad_Ramsey Sep 16, 2011 11:15 AM

Ah, now there is a question that i too have asked. Im willing to bet that you will NOT get your answer. NOT here for sure. But you MAY get an email from "someone" that will not divulge any useful information.

Good luck on your quest for information on the ever elusive Black Belly. They are being horded like no other morph!

So it makes the black a little blacker, and the yellows a little yellower(maybe)...lol, doesn't seem like a very big deal to me. I would never actually buy one when I need to afford the good morphs like Champagne, Specter, Ghi, Toff, CG, Ext. I was just curious what they looked like.

I have a normal that throws cool combos too...I think I will call it a black belly and show everyone before this guy shows and claims the name first of HIS black belly. Obviously im bluffing, but this kind of thing really irks me. People who hord new morphs are only trying to figure out a way to make more money with them. I am sorry, but I am in this for the love, not the money.

I am sorry to sound like a pissy baby about this, and mean no offense, I am sure this guy is a real nice person, I just figure that if you have a "new" morph, show it, what is there to be afraid of?? Everyone and their mothers are dinkering with odd normals now, due to the Russo, Specter, yellowbelly, vanilla, and any other "odd" looking normal that has been proven to be something just "other" than normal.

You would have to see an adult or baby in person to truly understand how amazing they are! I have been doing this for 10 yrs as a living and when clients ask you to keep something under wraps for a bit, its usually a good idea. The project is only 2 yrs old and its just getting started, i think its time to make it more public!

So...

I will be posting picks of Black Bellies when i get home from traveling next week... I just wanted them to start feeding before i messed with them to much.

Jon,

This is one of the most exciting morphs out there. I can't wait to see what the black belly gene will do when mixed with other morphs. Great job hatching out a yellow jacket.
