I know this is probably been asked before and I'm likely going to be laughed at for inquiring, but I've been digging everywhere to find a 2nd edition of his book that someone would part with - anyone know of a book re-seller that would have this in stock or one floating around?

Amazon had one several weeks ago. I think it was ~$100. It's a nice reference to have - much better than the first edition. Many of the profound mistakes in the first edition were corrected for edition numero dos, but there are still plenty of mistakes (e.g.; most of the information regarding L. t. arcifera is actually for L. ruthveni).

Thanks Cole, I'll keep my eye out on Amazon and Ebay..I've also asked a few folks traveling to the herp expos to keep an eye out for me. I think I had passed up getting a copy in Daytona in 2008 and I kick myself to this day over it.

Sweet intergrade, I'm hopefully relocating to CO in the future and I've had some fun herp encounters there on past trips.
