I have a 6 month old male ball python that looks like he is about to go into a shed. His skin is dull his belly turned pinkish last week and he just feels different. I just changed him to Eco earth to keep the humidity up (went from 50% and now it goes from 60-70%) and i have a hide with moss for him. The Day temp is set to 90 in hot and 82 on cool side and it stays around 70-75 at night.The yawning and breathing with the mouth open just started today. no weezing no water or mucus. The reason why i think its due to shed is because his nostrils look like they have skin flap covering theem. could this be an RI or pre shed stages?
