I have a male 6 month old ball python. Ive had him for about three months and in that time he has gone through one shed. His belly turned pinkish last week and now he just feels diffrent and his skin color seems almost dull (no eye cap changes yet). Yesterday i changed his substrate to Eco earth cuz it holds humidty better (went from an average of 50% to 60Úy and 65-70 night). This morning i did my morning check and he started to pop and breath with his mouth open (signs of an RI). I also noticed though his nose flaps look covered by skin but there is no mucas no water and he just ate fine two days ago. No weight loss and moves great. It just looks like hes having a hard time breathing out cuz of the skin (he was also rubbing his head alot when i put him down). Should i wait a couple of days and see if its shedding issue or should i bring him in to the vets?
