i have a very small collection 4 to be exact set up in my animal plastics rack cb70 i love the rack and service from them they are one of the best. my problem is the room i keep them in gets very cold and last year i had a stupid heat bill than a stupid electric bill when i switched to oil filled radiator. i can not have pets at home so i keep them at work but i cant have these crazy bills either with heating costs at work. does anyone have the same issue and have a good solution? i was thinking about insulating the rack itself? any good advice is much appreciated.

You could go to Home Depot or Lowes and get the panels of isulation. I think they are 4x8 and cover three sides that dont open with it. Just make a three sided box and tape it together sit it on the floor if you dont want to fasten it to the rack. The tighter fit the better. I live in R.I. I dont have this problem because my basment is heated but friends do and thats what they do they say it works great.
