Wow. Great color and pattern. What are the sunglow sharp mots (salmon or O.T. ?)

boaphile Sep 17, 2011 04:55 PM

The Motley Het Sharp you produced made them. All Salmons are OTs.

Did I miss the memo?

I understand that if lineage is unknown, a hypo is a hypo is a hypo. If you do not know, then you do not know.

I can verify mine. In my collection, and breedings, OT and Salmon act similar only in regards to being hypomelanistic, but are very different in appearance and heritability of specific traits in offspring, standing alone or when bred to other morphs and lines. They seem totally different to me, and in my opinion they are.

Are you sure they are the same, Jeff? You would know, but I am looking for more than just because you said so. I want the dirty details that prove all Salmons are OT.

That is one poppin' colored puppy in your original post, btw.

Salmons are Ot's only because they are both hypo. The OT line came from a hypo near Panama , and the salmon line were pet shop animals that Rich Isle named salmon. Right ????
