Pepper Pines are hatching! Pictures!!

JayJacoby Sep 17, 2011 11:10 AM

These are hatchlings from my Pepper X Pepper breeding. Clutch #1 produced all Patternless snakes. Some are blonde, and others are darker. One even has stripes on it's neck.

Clutch #2 is hatching today. 2 are out, and so far there is one blonde, and one patterned that looks axanthic.

Clutch #3 was a patterned Pepper Pine bred to a pink Leucistic. This produced white patternless, and pink hypos! I will add pictures of these when I get a chance.

Enjoy.

This project is based on a patternless Southern Pine. The original breedings from years ago had some Bullsnake blood, but I have been breeding the most "southern" patternless looking ones back to each other. I called these Pepper Pines due to the amount of black and white speckling on the adults necks.

I have another clutch which used a patterned "Pepper" female, and bred it to a pink phase Leucistic Southern (from Isis) and the offspring are outstanding. Most were very light patternless, and 2 are patterned hypos.

I will be picking these up next week, and will show pictures.
