question about Fires

TimS Sep 19, 2011 06:07 PM

is there different lines of fires out there? I have seen some fires that seem fairly normal but then get a real nice light clean color as they age and then i have seen others that start off super light and faded then as adults almost have a look to them as older pastel balls, kinda faded brown yellow look,

All fires get lighter with age. Selective breeding results in a variation of shades. The Sulfur is widely accepted as a seperate line of fire. The original line of Fire is called the Davey's line and a large number of them are owned by pythonregius.com

would that be called a sulfur or a odd looking normal lol or what would you all label it as?

>>would that be called a sulfur or a odd looking normal lol or what would you all label it as?

If you bought it as a Fire then you label it a Fire. It looks like a Fire. Sulfurs also look like Fires but you did not buy a Sulfur therefore you would be mis-representing your snake if you labeled him as such.

alright, yeah he was deff bought as a fire. ball pythons are getting soooo confusing lol, amazing morphs but my fav is still my 6lb. "normal" girl

amcroyals Sep 20, 2011 11:20 AM

I see that you didn't make note of what you bought it as. My bad. I assumed you bought it as a Fire due to the subject of the thread.

If you bought it as a fancy normal, you will need to prove his genetics thru breeding before you can put a "label" on it.
