Two Questions

Seeves1982 Sep 20, 2011 03:32 PM

1. For those of you who use hides. When breeding season comes around do you remove the hides to make room for both snakes in a tub and promote interaction between the two or do you leave the hides in? And for those who pull the hides when do you pull them?

2. If you were considering moving a snake to a larger tub and breeding season was coming up. Would you wait till after the breeding season for fear the move could disturb the snake or would you just move her anyway and hope for the best?

i took my two into a whole other tank and they started to tail lock immediately and ive been askin around you dont have to just breed in the winter.if there fed well like once a week then on a rainy or snowy day its a good day to put them together because of the pressure change and hide or no hide it doesnt matter

Take the hides out normally the female goes in the males tub but I have done males into females tub and they breed so it probably wont matter if you go to a new tub.
