Very nice John. I have noticed my adults have variability like that also. I have a 2.3 breeding group from 3 different sources.

And...I was expecting this gal to turn dark....possibly black considering how dark the parents are and their Lemke lineage..

Some mex mex lines do get darker with age.....but the true "Black Phase" Mex Mex will darken within a year and their ground color will be nearly totally black within 3 to 4 years.........Cool ontogenesis.......
