Paradise Puppies

boaphile Sep 21, 2011 04:19 PM

On Monday I was fortunate to have a few more Paradise Boas show themselves. This was a Het Sharp female bred by a Prodigy male. So just Paradise Boas and Het Prodigies born this time. Here is the Het Sharp a couple weeks before having my last litter of the 2010-2011 season:

She was loaded to the neck bone for sure. She was all lined up across the front of the cage making seeing anything really difficult. Still with some careful effort, I was able to sneak in and get a few shots of the action:

These are still not quite as light as Prodigy puppies, but they are lighter than the first litter of Paradise Boas we had about three and a half months ago now.

The Paradise Boas so far are keeping these cartoon type colors without making any change at all so far. The oldest Paradise Boas are only 3 months and ten days old now. But the color on most of them is as brilliant as the day they were born if not a tad more cartoonish. A couple of the darkest ones now look exactly like VPI T-Positives which is really strange.

Here is a dark one:

Still the strange color to be sure, but different from most of them. Here are several together for comparison:

Then a couple singly:

This is my favorite:

So far Larry Micklevitz and I are the only Boa guys who have seen these in the flesh. I can tell you they are unlike anything else visually. Crazy color. I will have a few at the Tinley Park show in two weeks for people to see in real life. It's is going to be great fun to show off a lot of new stuff that I was fortunate to have born this season. Great times.

Now we have to wait to see how these brand new babies look after they shed. I'm really curious as the mother of the first litter of Paradise Boas is a really dark Het Sharp. The mother of this litter is not a dark one at all. It will be fun to watch!

WOW JEFF! They look fantastic, thanks for sharing. Now how about sharing pics of some of the other new creations that you have been hiding up there in the boa black hole. See you at Tinley in a couple of weeks my friend.

Very nice! Now the question becomes, how many more cages will you need to build for all the holdbacks? Congrats.

They are amazing Jeff , your description of cartoon colors is perfect.

These things are unreal, the Paradise Boas glow in person

These two really left quite an impression on me, really a treat to see !
