Advice on cleaning tanks.

keng1111 Sep 22, 2011 08:50 PM

Hi, I'm a novice and I just got 2 corns. I was just wondering if somebody could tell me the proper way to clean the tanks, the products to use and how often to clean them? Thanks

I just spray all my tanks and tubs with a 10% bleach solution in a good spray bottle set on mist. Let it stand for about 10 or 15 minutes then rinse it out. I use wood chips so I can spot clean easily, and I don't need to actually clean the tubs very often, unless they make a huge mess, or if I suspect a sick snake, which hasn't happened in quite a long time, thank GOD!
