We saw it near our house, around noon this October first.
Partialy exposed on top of a cinder block where one of our "pet" lizard lives (still lives).
After we took it's pix, it moved into a pile of brush cuttings.

Length: about 12 to 14".

We would like to know:
_ is it venemous?
_ does it eat lizards?

Thank you.

No, it is a harmless Cornsnake (Elaphe guttata)

Adults eat primarily mammals, but juveniles (such as the one you found) will eat small lizards as well.

Thanks for the answer.

It's moving time for the snake....if we can find it. (have to move the pile of brush anyway).
