My favorite time of year - first shed new babies.
My first year producing Pearls and so far two very different litters, born very close together and all shed now. The Aubergine litter is very wacky with some of what I'm calling "Zebra striping" where the dorsal patterns join with the side patterns. In may cases the dorsal patterns are merged with both side patterns creating a lateral stripe from side to side.... pretty cool!!!!
