Ran upon this pretty one on my road while riding my bike. Just wondering what kind. Sorry for the crude cell picture.

Its a rat snake, of the obsoleta group, blackrat, texas rat, etc. Depending on your local. Where are you?

Looks like a black rat rather than a Texas rat..........but could be an intergrade

Actually it is a intergrade between a Gray rat and blackrat.
