I just re-read that message I posted, and I think it could be taken differently than intended!
I just meant that your posts made me think you were much older than you appear.

I apologize if it came off sounding critical.

I wouldn't mind posting a pic. I use my real name when I post, what difference would it make if I had a pic? Heck my SS # is 145-78-9553 and my bank account # is 335507924. I'm in Raleigh, NC.

Actually, I'm planning on eventually having a booth at some of the Carolina reptile shows, and possibly doing a lecture on chameleons. Sometiems I work for the guy who runs the shows, helping sell sugar gliders, or working security. So If anyone from this bord ever comes to the Raleigh shows, they'll know who I am, and can come and talk to me to ease my boredom as I stand there all freakin day.

I'll see if I can find a pic of me other then the one from my 21st birthday. Nope, ain't gonn post those here.

Eric:
I am also located in Raleigh and have attended the reptile show every time it has come for the last 4 years. I always go away angry because I see so much misinformation being given to prospective new reptile owners. Also I see alot of animals (especially chams) housed incorrectly (ie. numerous chams in the same enclosure, chams housed in glass aquariums right next to snakes or large lizards and displaying stress coloration). I remember at the show Labor Day weekend a Mellers Chameleon at a table left alone to wander free and children poking at it and trying to grab it. Also the number of obviously imported animals troubles me. These animals are hardly appropriate for advanced keepers and are being sold to novices. I shudder to think how many of these animals survive more than a few weeks after being purchased. I've known Tony who is the promoter of this show for many years and who is a dedicated reptile enthusiast, and also know the Vet who supposedly checks all animals being sold at the show; but I wish that the vendors would be policed and scrutinized more thoroughly, if not for the sake of the reptiles then for the sake of the novice keepers who are purchasing animals that are destined to die in their keep.
Just my 2cents,
Pete
