My baby ate! Thanks everyone, especially Elizabeth!

I bought some red wigglers and small crix for the new baby yesterday... my bf and I brought them home, tried the wigglers first. He wasn't interested. Then I said, "Try the crickets and dust them heavily, Elizabeth said to!" So then we gave him the crickets, and voila! He chowed down. I was so happy. Thanks everybody for your help...

Glad to hear you got him eating. Usually the first bite is the hardest to get, I'm sure he'll start eating a good variety of foods soon so keep them red wrigglers around.

Glad he ate
now do not dust the wrigglers too much, just enough to make them dance, but the dusted crickets are easier to see (I think)
my babies went to big crickets after a couple days of little crickets (not huge, but Med/Lrg sized) and I just bought 1000 and have them in tanks near all the animals, the Crickets are CHOWING down on the gut load, not so much on the cricket water.
I have LOTS of meal worm meal, I may give them that next
but I realized I M going through over 200 crickets a week
so I buy in bulk knowing I will lose some
