Well,I am home now but still not 100%. Real long story but in a nutshell I have spent 25 out of the last 30 in the damn hospital.I was up at carson/Tahoe recovery for 2 weeks as well.Long story short I have some stomach issues from my bipass 4 years ago. They had to feed me through a tube (TPN) to get my protien levels up blah blah blah.......
Bottom line is I can't absorb enough protien, calcium etc.. through just the fod I eat.Not sure what the future holds for me but I am sure it will be a rough road for a while.Still pretty darn weak and tired and won't be going back to work but I know for sure I am going to have to cut my collection atleast in half cause there is just no way I can take care of 400 snakes any longer.
Now I know what a small alterna must feal like being pinky pumped.LOL....

Anyway,I will be around and thanks again for everybody's prayers etc....Its god to be home.

Wow dude, sorry to hear that man. That sounds really rough. Glad you are doing better and at home once again. When stuff like this happens it makes you realize what's really important in life, eh?

I hope your recovery continues to go well.

Glad to see you are recovering Shannon. As Dave just mentioned, threats to life really make for a wake up call. I hope they figure out the issues with the absorption as that has to be hard on your body. Keep your chin up bro and I hope things keep improving. I know we all love them, but snakes are snakes and you can always get more if you have to downsize.

Shannon,

Glad to hear you are improving. Just remember it is always better to be the alterna & not the pinkie.

Best Wishes

Shannon:

Sounds like a tough road but try to stay positive. I've dealt with some tough stuff in my family as well and it seems like the power of positivity is worth its weight in gold. You are in my thoughts.

And the pinkie pump comment? Sense of humor is always the last thing to go. Keep it up!
