Black-Headed Super Hypo

tcdrover Oct 08, 2011 06:20 PM

I got really lucky when I got this guy. He is a lipstick line
double het. He turned out to be a super hypo. He had this crazy
looking black head when he was a neonate. It completely lightened
up as he matured.

Here is a pic of the ad I responded to and a couple of him
afterwards. I'm going to post some pics of some of his kids
after this. They have the same crazy looking dark heads.

Do you think the dark head had anything to do with
him being a super hypo?

These guys are all 66% het for albino. Their heads are pretty
intense looking. I took these pics today before they ate. They
get much darker after they eat. What do you think?

Thanks for looking...tc

Yeah, their heads came out just like his.

They can't be super hypos though, I don't think. The mother was
an Arabesque het for albino. Right?

Those are awesome hypo arabesques. 90% of them I dont really think are appealing what so ever. Yours look absolutely amazing. And yes you are right, with dad being a super and mom being a normal arab het albino, the whole litter is hypos with no supers. Absolutely awesome awesome animals. Thanks for sharing.

I'm giving both the parents a rest this year. I think I'll
probably pair them each with a jungle next.
