Introducing the Ravenclaw

viper99 Oct 12, 2011 01:09 AM

Clutch of 5, 3 out of the egg, and the other two look very promising.

Nothing happens slower than a snake leaving the egg.

That is pretty nice looking. I am realy digging it. What are the genetics?

jsschrei Oct 12, 2011 01:50 AM

Those are very, very cool, congrats. Can't wait to see the other two out of the eggs! Are they a new gene, or a new combo?

I believe it is a new combo.

Any Guesses as to the ingredients.

Three genes, one of them is pied.

jsschrei Oct 12, 2011 02:11 AM

I don't really know, but I'm going to take a wild stab at leopard spider het pied or leopard enchi het pied, unless they are really low/no white pieds. Anywhere close?

Good Eye!

One Gene is Leopard. One Gene is Pied.

TessadasExotics Oct 12, 2011 09:55 AM

This doesn't make any sense. Also if it were true, then it would throw out all of the thoughts that Leopards are het pied.
What exactly did you breed?

viper99 Oct 12, 2011 10:37 AM

Leopard pied to woma

TessadasExotics Oct 12, 2011 04:46 PM

So that would make them Leopard Womas possible het Pied?
They are smoking hot! I really like them allot.

Pattern Simular to a Spider...Woma has about the same...head markers of a Woma and the Pied Gene ever recessive can distort color and pattern...so my best educated guess is the Woma is the third gene...just my opinion...whatever it is I LIKE IT...

It is interesting how light the head looks, I hope it stays that way, I will post pics after they shed. I like the high contrast of the jet black leopard markings against the lighter woma coloring.

Thanks for playing everyone, Great guesses by all.

viper99 Oct 12, 2011 09:59 AM

No enchi

lairofdragons Oct 12, 2011 10:04 AM

I know no Enchi...but something is bringing out the Yellow...thats why I said Pastel or Yellow Belly is the third gene...

They look fantastic.

I can't wait to see them in person, probably next week if that works for you.
