Lightning DOES strike twice........

rainbowsrus Oct 13, 2011 09:51 PM

I'm dumbfounded and can't believe my unboalievable good luck, lightning has struck in my rainbow room AGAIN!!!!!

On October 8th I had a litter where the very first full striped BRB's ever showed up. Insane striping and insane color. I posted pics of these babies on the 9th and got lots of congratulatory replies....

Super cool and simply amazing that I was so blessed with them. The parents were somewhat normal looking BRB's with zig-zag connected dorsal patterns.

But, the boa gods were not done with me yet. Three days later, from totally unrelated animals popped out a different stripe line. YES, two brand new stripe lines from two unrelated BRB lines, neither of which were known to exist before. Both born within mere feet of each other within a three day period!

This litter was from "Pearl" line BRB's where the side patterns are filled in with crescent color. I fairly small litter of 8 with two striped babies...

A normal pearl for comparison and even those are relatively new...

Hmmmm, I do live in California, The first litter was clearly a earth shaking event, the second must have been an aftershock

I love how this stripe is different than the other one. You sure are having some great luck this year, maybe you should purchase a lottery ticket.

Congrats again on more amazing babies.

I'm really drawn to the "Pearl" line ones just born. That Jungle Motley-ish pattern just does it for me.

Congrats!

I think these boa's are really cool!
I was sitting at pc desk holding my female Paraglow and I thought Id let her see the screen, I know my dog reacts to other dogs on tv so I was curious to see how she reacted.
Well...soon a she focused on screen she struck at it!
She has never struck at me or been aggressive.
So maybe it was the sight off the other non bci snake, or the magnetic field from screen. I just turned it on so it wasnt too warm.
It was wild though!

Once again congrats on an awesome new look.
