Not 100% Sure - Opinions Please

CBI Oct 15, 2011 03:25 PM

I picked up a collection and these were thrown in free. They are not related, but the pin is in there for comparison. The male in question is from a normal female. A pin and spider male were bred to her, all the sibs are normals and I have this inbetweener. I think (and the breeder thinks) that it is a spider, but it looks like no other spider that I have seen. Maybe a low key spider or low key pin? Opinions welcome, thanks!

I am going to say it's a funky pin. The head looks like my pins heads. It doesn't look like a spider head. Just my opinion. Breed it to a pastel or normal girl and see what you get.

I would say its a not so great looking spider. I have one almost identical. breed it to a norm or a pastel (preferably a pastel) and see what you get.

You have (2) Pinstripes there. Pins are known for having different patterns within the same clutch. I produced a Kingpin (Butter-Pinstripe) that has an almost identical pattern as the one you have in question. Some say he's an ugly kingpin, others say he is one of the coolest they have seen. Again, different patterns. IMO, there is not a trace of spider in that animal.

100% sure its a pinstripe. The head says it. Pinstripes have that connecting bar on the backside of the head.
