Thought I'd share some pics of a pretty Ghana girl I bought this summer to dink around with. I just love her. I think she's a very pretty color, and is also friendly and a great eater on f/t rats. I haven't decided yet who to pair her up with, got another year or two to figure it out so no hurry. In the belly shot she's the one on the outside. The one curled up in the middle of that pic is another more normal looking ghana girl I picked up. I'd be interested in any thoughts you might have on her.

het Russo would be nice, at least that's something I'd be able to prove out fairly easily as I have a Mojo male and a Pastel Lesser male, and by the time she's breeding size I'd hopefully have a BEL male as well. I hadn't even considered that option as het Russo's aren't something I've ever looked much into so wasn't familiar with their look. Enough to know it's in the BEL complex is all I really knew. I assumed they looked more similar to Mojos until I just looked up some pictures and found a few that resemble my girl, then some others that look totally different. Seems it's a variable morph... Thanks so much for the suggestion. It gives me a direction to go with her

She looks like my "Tangerine" Ball. The Tangerine is unproven so far, but looks identical to Vin Russo's Halloween Balls. My female was imported by Vin as a male, to breed to his Halloween girls, but turned out to be a female. I am breeding a Sulfur son of her back to her this year.

I'd never heard of Tangerines or Halloweens before. The older pics of your girl do look like mine, the younger pic looks alot more orange. I wish I'd gotten mine as a hatchling to know if she started off orange and turned yellow or was always yellow. She was several months old when I got her and was yellow alreay. I like the het Russo idea better than the Halloween idea but if the het Russo idea doesn't prove out then sounds like makes sense to keep back one of her sons to put back to her to see about the Halloween possibility. By the time that happens maybe more will have been done with Halloweens as I'm curious now what the morph will do when crossed with other morphs. Good luck with your breeding project, I look forward to seeing your baby pics next year to see what comes of it.
