A little OT side-project for fun . . .

Thought I'd throw this up just for the hell of it....technically they ARE tricolored. Solid Austin-locality, bright-orange striped critters that get BIG.

This 1.2 cyrtopsis group should easily go next year, and the babies are spectacular.

Yes, they ARE in the hobby.....you just have to move to Canada or Europe to have them. I know MANY across the pond or wayyyy up north that do and breed them annually. Makes me sick. LOL...

They are BEAUTIFUL animals for sure.....

You're absolutely right Jorge, some garters just ROCK.....

here's another black neck....

Here's a rarity for you garter fans....ANERYTHRISTIC Oregon red-spotted garters. These are incredible and must be seen in-person....almost the same color as those raspberry blue ices we ate as kids back in the day with stark black. Yes, the bellies are mostly blue as well. This is a photo of my friend's breeder anery concinnus along with another female garter housed together......I'm getting babies in 2012 and they raise up pretty fast. Just awesome.....sorry for crappy cell phone pic...

And lastly, the new addition to our family -- our Bengal cat Kenji. What AMAZING animals these cats are! Here he is exploring my daughters room.....

Thanks for looking!

Thos look great Jerry, but I'm a sucker for Blue snakes, so I really like that blue one next to the albino. I've been lusting over the Neon Blue California Garters, maybe next year? Oh the Cat is just Crazy good looking too!

Hey Mike,

despite the little bastids being baby zonata eaters, I really do like ring-neck snakes. I find some really nice ones here in the east, never longer than a foot long. Alays wanted to keep 'em, but didnt want to go through the trouble of feeding them (I have enough entertainment getting baby z's to eat). Pretty neat stuff you have there!
